<p>In the theme of recycle, reuse, reinvent the title of the event is &#8220;Turn Back TIME &#8211; High School Formal&#8221;. This is your chance to pull out your old formal dress or suit and relive your high school experience.</p>
<p>The event will start at 7pm with the AGM scheduled for 7:30pm. This will include elections for the 2012 TIME Exec. Following this will be the TIME Charity Auction to raise funds for overseas medical aid.</p>
<p>Tickets: $20 members, $25 non-members &#8211; includes wine or champagne on arrival and canapes during the night.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s back! This September, TIME (Towards International Medical Equality), a student-run non-for-profit organisation, is once again hosting their annual fashion parade. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s theme ‘What&#8217;s your fantasy?’ promises to delight fashionistas and industry experts alike.</p>
<p>This event, to be held at the Old Museum in Bowen Hills, will specifically highlight the talents of young local designers, each of whom have developed entirely new collections in honour of this event.</p>
<p>Ranging from established local fashion houses to up-and-coming student designers, this event promises to bring together a wealth of creative abilities, and cater to a wide range of fashion desires.</p>
<p>Featured names include Aimee Kahl, Rhaman Donovan, Allanah Sarafian, Natasha Dearden, Sharon Williams, Nadine of Spitfire Designs, and Teighan &amp; Danielle of Teda Clothing.</p>
<p>Notably, this year’s event will also chart a new and exciting path into the world of vintage, featuring pieces from ‘Box Vintage’. (A company that continues to garner renown as an innovative local fashion house.)</p>

<p>TIME Executive Committee 2012 nominations are open now! Do you have an interest in health equality and want to know what it takes to be involved in the running of a charitable organisation? Than put your name in to become one of the TIME Executive next year! You&#8217;ll be involved in managing exciting activities that raise funds, create awareness, and educate med students about health inequalities across the globe and at home. As an executive member, you&#8217;ll be involved in representing UQ upon the national stage during the Global Health Conference and advancing health equality in the same manner as organisations like the Red Cross or Medicins Sans Frontieres.</p>
<p>Nominations are open now, so write up a statement (max 300 words) about why you should be chosen for your position and how you would contribute to the executive. The positions and their descriptions are listed below. Email your completed applications with the subject line TIME Executive 2012 to <a href="mailto:exec@timeuq.org" target="_blank">exec@timeuq.org</a> before <strong>5.00pm AEST Tuesday, October 11th.</strong></p>
<p>Members may read the candidate statements and then the election of the TIME Executive Committee 2012 will take place the following week at our <strong>Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 20th</strong>. The positions will be finalised after the vote.</p>
