Fashion Show

The TIME Fashion Show showcases some of Brisbane’s most creative talents in the fields of fashion design, music and graphics design. The 2010 and 2011 events were held at The Zoo (Fortitude Valley) and The Old Museum (Bowen Hills), and were integral in raising funds to support TIME’s Medical Aid Projects.

Fashion designs show cased in the past include those by MSIT Billabong Swimwear Designer of the Year; Swarovski Young Designer of the Year; Dubai International Fashion Shows exhibitors; Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show exhibitors and current and past QUT fashion students.

The event also supports up and coming local bands, including The Chutes. The band recently launched their debut EP, selling out, and being played on Triple J, Triple M and other stations state-wide. Their EP has been used on Foxtel’s Fuel TV.

The Fashion Show has been supported by Brisbane artist, Joyce Ho. Joyce has been hand-picked to work with the Museum of Brisbane on the Brisbane Goes to the Pictures exhibition; her artist books have been acquired by the State Library of Queensland and short-listed for the Minister’s Aware for Excellence in Art.
